Here is how I cast the flowers!

Cast jewelry is made through the ancient "lost wax" process. An original model (usually carved from hard wax but I use the original flower) is placed into a cylindrical flask and a fine-grained plaster is poured over it and allowed to harden. The flask is heated in a kiln at a high temperature, and the wax/flower burns out, leaving a perfect mold of the original. Molten metal is poured into the flask ; once the metal is no longer glowing hot, the flask is plunged into cool water and the investment crumbles away, leaving an exact replica of the original flower.
Once cast  the piece is cleaned,  smoothed, and polished. As the flower is destroyed in the process each piece is unique.
